Peru had won until Thursday morning seven medals in the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games and the country hopes to win many more.
“The Peruvian athletes who have taken the podium are Efraín Sotacuro, Jorge Arcela, Antero Villalobos, Luis Sandoval, Carlos Felipa, Rosbil Guillén and Rodrigo Santillán”, said an article published in RPP Noticias.
One of these medals was a gold prize, win by Rosbil Guillén in the 1,500-meter race.
In addition, three silver medals were obtained by: Luis Sandoval (5000m – T11), Carlos Felipa (Bullet Throw – F63) and Jorge Arcela (Shot, 10m Tending Air Rifle – SH1).
Meanwhile, Antero Villalobos (-81 KG – B1), Efraín Sotacuro (1500m – T46) and Rodrigo Santillán (100m back) got bronze awards.
Brazil heads the list of won medals of the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games. It is followed by the United States and Mexico.
