Antonio Garcia Pye, manager of selections of the FPF (Peruvian Soccer Federation), announced that the “Blanquirroja” will play a friendly match against Uruguay in March 2019, in preparation for the Copa América Brazil 2019.
“I would say that we will have a friendly match with Uruguay in March 2019. We were talking with the president of the Uruguayan Federation and we already sent an email with the accepted conditions and hopefully, there is no problem for the signing. We want to play games with the best possible level,” said Garcia Pye in RPP News, according to America TV.
This friendly match would be on March 21 and would take place in Peru.
As for this year’s last games, there is a game against Ecuador on November 15 in Lima and another against Costa Rica on the 20th of the same month in Arequipa.
