OK Café, it’s more than OK

OK Café is a new coffee shop that combines a cozy design with great coffee sourced by Ignacia Espinosa and roasted by Luko Saric This small coffee shop has taken a spot in the Lima coffee scene.

Chilean journalist Ignacia worked for years in the wine industry. While making a trip to Peru connected with coffee and became love at first sight. Since then, she has been looking for a place to create a small coffee shop with her partner, photographer Ivan Salinero. That quest led them to a small storage facility on La Mar Street. With a small budget and great friends, Blanco Design Studio and the architect Arturo Ghezzi Novak created a tiny (17 mt2) but beautifully designed coffee shop that now serves the neighborhood.

Their roast includes coffee from different regions of Peru prepared on the espresso machine or on a pour-over method (v-60 or Chemex). It’s paired with desserts created by Richard Venegas some nights. They offer cocktails and natural wines.

IN THE KNOW: OK Café is at 878 Mariscal La Mar Ave. Miraflores District, Lima, Opening hours Monday to Saturday from 07:30 am to 07:30 and Sundays de 08:00 am to 1:00 pm
