Central Restaurant, recognized as one of the World’s best restaurants, presents Inmersión Central, an initiative that will bring visitors closer to its spaces and research and creativity team.

For the first time, Central is opening the doors to its creative spaces, allowing diners to explore the places and talents that shape Central. This exclusive experience invites visitors to arrive three hours before service to immerse themselves in the creative spaces and processes that define the vision of Virgilio Martínez/Central. “We want our visitors to see and understand Central from the inside: the ideas, ecosystems, and connections that inspire our cuisine,” explains Virgilio Martínez.
Inspiration from the Heights
The concept of Inmersión Central was inspired by the immersive experiences at MIL, the group’s restaurant located at 3,800 meters above sea level in the Sacred Valley, since 2018. “MIL has always been a source of inspiration for us. There, we discovered the importance of contextualizing gastronomy within its environment and sharing that knowledge with visitors. Now, we bring this idea to Lima, adapting it to the urban ecosystem of Casa Túpac,” adds Martínez.

Collaboration with Mater and Masi
This experience has been developed in collaboration with two brands from the group: Mater, the research center led by Malena and Virgilio Martínez, which seeks to articulate knowledge about Peru’s megadiversity, and Masi, the creative collective that designs disruptive experiences and products, such as Ruta Warmi and the Theo Set.
A Journey that Connects Central’s Vision
Inmersión Central is structured as a half-day circular journey that explores every facet of Central, providing access to new spaces. Over six hours, participants will:
- Tour the Experimental Garden. A carefully designed ecosystem where plants from the coast, Andes, and Amazon narrate Peru’s biodiversity.
- Visit the Mater Space. An exhibition showcasing interdisciplinary projects from the Mater Research Center, merging art, science, cuisine, and humanities.
- Interact in the Creative Spaces: Masi Cocina and Masi Líquidos. Experience the creative process of the Innovation and Development teams in Masi Cocina and Masi Líquidos.
- Access Masi Theo. Discover the creative space dedicated to experimenting with cacao and other native Theobromas, guided by our expert team.
- Tasting Menu and Wine Pairing at Central. Complete the journey with a 13-course tasting menu and curated pairings at Central.
